The Fr-So Bearcats will open their season tonight (Monday September 1) as they will travel to Eldorado to take on the Eagles. Kick Off is scheduled for 6:00 PM.

This is a reminder that CHS will not be in session on Monday September 1, 2025, in observance of Labor Day.

The Bearcats will open the 2025 season tonight as we will host Eldorado in a Black Diamond Conference Game. Kickoff is set for 7:00 PM.

Gates will open at 5:15 PM tonight and tailgating and parking will be allowed on the practice field.

This is a reminder that CHS will dismiss at 12:30 PM Tomorrow, Friday August 29, 2025.

Schedule Change

The Week 1 Fr-So Football Game at Eldorado will be played on Monday, September 1, 2025, at 6:00 PM.

Good Luck to the ZRC Boys Golf Team as they will travel to Pine Lakes Golf Course in Herrin today. Tee Time is 4:00 PM.

The Lady Bearcats are back in action tonight as they will travel to Thompsonville to take on the Lady Tigers. The Freshmen will play at 5:00 PM with the JV and Varsity to follow.

Good Luck to the ZRC Co-Ed Golf Team as they will head to Shawnee Hills Golf Course to take on the Hardin Co. Cougars. Tee Time is scheduled for 4:00 PM.

Good Luck to the Lady Bearcats Volleyball Team as they open the 2025 season at Woodlawn in a non-conference matchup with the Lady Cardinals. The Freshmen game will begin at 5:00 PM with the JV and Varsity to follow.

Good Luck to the ZRC Girls Golf Team as they will travel to Franklin Co. Country Club to take on the West Frankfort Redbirds. Tee Time is 4:00 PM.

Just a friendly reminder that Iconiks Studio will be here at the high school on Tuesday, August 26, in the morning, to take school pictures. They make online ordering easy for you. You should receive your proof with your online code approximately 3 weeks after picture day.

We hope to see you tonight as we will introduce the our 2025 Christopher-Zeigler-Royalton-Elverado Football Team, our 2025 CHS Football Cheer Squad, our 2025 ZRC Golf Teams, our 2025 CHS Band, and our 2025 CHS Color Guard. Introductions will begin at 6:30 PM. At 7:00 PM, our Football Team will scrimmage with the Pinckneyville Panthers. Admission for tonight is $2.00, a bottle of water, or a bottle of sports drink. Gates will open at 5:00 PM. The tailgate area will be open. Please watch for signs around the track and field areas for areas that are closed off.

The 2024-25 CHS Yearbooks are IN!!

If you purchased a 24-25 yearbook, you can stop by the office to pick it up during school hours. 8:00 am - 3:00 pm. If you did not purchase one last year, there are a limited amount available for purchase.
