The ZRC Softball and Baseball teams are back in action at home today. The Softball team will host the Lady Redbirds of Frankfort Community High School. The Baseball team will host the Herrin Tigers. Both games start at 4:30 PM.
On Friday March 22, students from our Illinois History class were given a tour of the Franklin County Courthouse by Franklin County Circuit Clerk Jim Muir. The students also took a tour of the Old Franklin County Jail.

This is a reminder that the Illinois State Board of Education is assessing all public-school students in grades 9, 10, and 11 This assessment is a graduation requirement and will be given to all 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students at CHS on Tuesday, March 26, 2024. Seniors will have a remote learning day and will not be on campus tomorrow Tuesday, March 26๐งก๐
The ZRC Baseball Team is back in action at home today for a Double Header with Waltonville/Sesser-Valier. The game time has been pushed back to 12:00 PM due to the cooler weather.
The ZRC Lady Tornadoes are back in action today as they will take on the Columbia Lady Eagles. The game will be played at Marion High School with first pitch scheduled for 11:00 AM.
Congratulations to Haley Kirkpatrick for placing 2nd in chemistry at the ACES sectionals competition at SIU-C! She will be moving on to the state competitions at Eastern Illinois University next month! ๐งก๐
