
IMPORTANT INFO FOR ALL FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN: Summer Grocery Benefit - Deadline to apply is May 15.
Beginning this summer, Illinois will offer Summer EBT, the new grocery program for families with eligible school-age kids. Eligible families will receive $120 per child during the summer for groceries starting in June 2024.
🔶 If you’re already receiving food benefits such as SNAP/FDPIR/TANF/ETC. your school-age children are eligible for the Summer EBT program.
🔶 If your household income meets the requirements for free and reduced-price school meals, your family can receive Summer EBT grocery benefits.
If you think you qualify, please call and ask for an application from your school office. The deadline to apply is May 15.

Get excited for Murder, Ahoy, tomorrow Wednesday, April 24. The CHS Drama Club will provide the entertainment and the FCCLA will prepare the dinner. PLEASE TRY TO BUY YOUR TICKETS BY THE END OF THE DAY TODAY FOR THE DINNER. The dinner starts at 6:30pm and the show at 7:30pm. The cost for the dinner will be $10 for adults and $5 for kids. Mr. Kirkpatrick took some very talented CHS students to the Sectional competition of Brain Games. Brain Games is a competition that involves trivia, historical knowledge, engineering skills, artistic skills, and interpersonal cooperation. While did not place among the group of 30 schools participating, they had a great time and learned a lot for next year.🧡💙
