The Illinois Principals Association (IPA) encourages all communities in Illinois to celebrate Principal Appreciation Week October 20-26, 2024, and Principal Appreciation Day on Friday, October 25, 2024. This state-endorsed recognition was first approved by the Governor of Illinois in 1990 and is celebrated annually.
Come out to CHS tonight as the Lady Bearcats honor our two seniors in our final home match of the season as the Sparta Lady Bulldogs come to town for a non-conference matchup. The Freshman will play at 5:00 PM with the JV & Varsity to Follow.
Just a reminder that CHS will have Parent Teacher Conferences Tuesday (Oct 22) & Thursday (Oct 24) from 3:30-6:30 PM.
We will have a FAFSA Info table from 4:00 - 6:00 PM in the Office Lobby.

After our originally scheduled Fresh-Soph Football game was cancelled by Edwards Co., we reached out to Sparta and added them to our schedule. Unfortunately due to a lack of IHSA Officials, tonight's Fr-So Football game with Sparta is cancelled.
The Lady Bearcats Volleyball team will travel to Steeleville to participate in the Steeleville Round Robin today. The Bearcats will play Steeleville at 9:00 AM (Varsity in HS Gym & JV in Jr. High Gym). The Lady Bearcats will then play Shawnee at 10:30 AM (Varsity in HS Gym & JV in Jr. High Gym).
This is a reminder that Jostens will be here on October 23rd to meet with Sophomores and Seniors to discuss Class Rings and Graduation Flair. Orders will be due on Wednesday October 30th.
This is a reminder that Iconiks Studio will be at CHS on Monday October 21st for Picture Retake Day.
