Good Luck to the Boys Basketball Team as they open the 2024-25 season tonight at the 50th Annual Turkey Tournament. The Bearcats will face the Thompsonville Tigers at 7:30 PM.
Our music department has been busy! On top of ILMEA, members of the chorus were selected through an audition to perform at the SIU Carbondale High School Choral Festival. Marissa Glidewell was selected to perform on violin at the Quad State Orchestra Festival at Murray State University, and Storm Chaney and Kamryn Thorpe were selected out of over 1300 auditions to perform at the Quad State Vocal Festival at Murray State University. Way to go everyone!

Haley Kirkpatrick performed on clarinet for the Senior Band, Marissa Glidewell performed on violin for the Senior Orchestra, and Kamryn Thorpe performed as an alto for the Senior Treble Chorus. The CHS Food Classes will be hosting the 8th Annual Senior Citizen Luncheon on December 6th. The doors will open at ll:00 and lunch will be served at 11:30 at the Christopher Civic Center. The students will be wearing the Christmas Holiday shirts below. If anyone is interested you may click on the link and place your order. The dates are listed on the order form for all deadlines.
