Changes to the morning drop off procedures will start on Monday, March 4, 2024. Students will be dropped off from their cars on Snider Street, at the appropriate door. The map is attached below to outline the new procedures. No changes will be made to the afternoon pick up process.
Important things to remember:
- Do not block the intersection of 6th and Snider Streets. This will eventually be a 4-way stop.
- Do not block the crosswalk located by the main office entrance. Students walking to school will be crossing there!
- Please make sure your child/children exit the car quickly to ensure the line continues to move. Parents must remain in the vehicle while dropping off.
- The parking lots will be reserved for our handicapped students, staff, and parking to enter the office. Please use 9th Street to enter the parking lots, if needed. Regular school drop off will not be permitted in the parking lots.
- Pre-K parents/students may use the parking lot for morning drop off, due to the delayed start time.
We have made these changes to ensure student safety. Officer Barbee will be outside in the mornings, as usual, to help with the new procedures. If you have questions, please speak with her or call the CES office. We thank you for your cooperation and patience as we move forward with these procedures.
