Wednesday, December 18 and Thursday, December 19 are 2:00 PM dismissals.
Attendance on Friday, December 20 is not mandatory if your child received his/her report card. Friday will be set aside for students needing to make up work before the end of the quarter.

*The schedule for Friday has changed. Report cards will go home on Thursday, December 19, and students may begin their winter break at that time. Friday will be a day set aside for students needing to complete make up work before the end of the quarter. If your child received a report card, attendance is not required. Buses will still run and students will be dismissed at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 20. School will resume on Monday, January 6, 2025.
Registration for 5th grade's "Parents' Night Out" is closed! They will not be able to take any registrations at the door. 5th grade would like to extend a big "thank you" to everyone who registered. It will be a fun night!
Our music department has been busy! On top of ILMEA, members of the chorus were selected through an audition to perform at the Marion Junior High Vocal Fall Festival. Two of our students, Pheobe Gawlick and Emmaleigh Sherrod, were selected to perform a solo and be recognized as featured singers! Congratulations!
If you would like to see these talented musicians and more perform, the Winter Concert will be held in the high school gym on Wednesday, December 11 at 6 PM!
The Holiday Shop is returning to CES next week! The shop will be open during school hours for students to shop for family and friends.

A few of our students were selected to perform at the Illinois Music Educators Association District Festival on Saturday! Pheobe Gawlick performed as an alto and Xavier Gawlick performed as a baritone for the Junior Mixed Chorus, and Emmaleigh Sherrod performed as an alto for the Junior Treble Chorus. Congratulations!
