Christopher Unit School District would like to send our condolences and support to the families, students, staff, and communities of Benton and West Frankfort. In support of the communities affected by the recent tragedy we are asking everyone to wear pink, red, or maroon tomorrow.

CES has reached the midterm point in our 1st quarter. This is a great opportunity to check in on the progress of your student(s). Midterm grades are available on TeacherEase. Paper copies of the midterms will not be set home this year.
After consulting with the CUSD #99 School Security Officer, non-essential animals will be prohibited from CUSD #99 properties during school hours, at school sponsored events, and athletic events. Registered service animals will be allowed, upon proper documentation.

CES had an exciting morning! Our first High Five Friday was a success! CZR Football players and Cheerleaders came to CES to greet our students. It was a great morning to be a Bearcat!
CES Baseball and Softball Update
Today (8/23) and Friday (8/25)- Baseball and softball games have been canceled. Both games will be rescheduled for a later date.

Get your new Bearcat Gear for the school year! Our Silkworm store is open online until August 24th. The community is welcome to shop and have orders shipped to their home address. Students who attend CES can opt to have their orders sent home from school.

Welcome back, Bearcats! Our first day of school is tomorrow, August 9th. We are excited to see you and we are ready to get the year started! A few reminders for the first day:
-Earliest drop off time is 7:30 AM.
-Entrances will be 5th - 8th at the north end of the building by the old gym and K - 4th will be just south of the office entrance.
-Please be patient with our buses! Our routes may run slow for the first few days, but we will get everyone picked up and dropped off appropriately.
It's always a great day to be a Bearcat!
