Parents/Guardians: The Illinois Youth Survey is scheduled at CES for May 3, 2024. The IYS is a statewide survey to better understand Illinois youth risk and protective behaviors as they relate to students and their success. It is conducted in schools with grade levels 8, 10, and 12 in the spring of even years. Your 8th grade child will participate in the survey during the school day. If you do not want your child to participate, please fill out the parent opt-out form and return it to the CES office.

Students return to school tomorrow, Tuesday, April 9. Graduation, track, and golf pictures are scheduled for Wednesday, April 10.
As we send our students off for Spring Break, we would like to share some pictures from our exciting day! Several classes worked on eclipse art and we had fun games at the assemblies today. CES wishes our students a fun Spring Break! We will see you all on Tuesday, April 9.

March is designated to celebrate Music in Our Schools. Ms. Krapf has decorated the halls at CES to remind us about the importance of music and how it impacts our daily lives.
