CHAIR SEAT INFORMATION FOR CHRISTOPHER HIGH SCHOOL 23-24. All fans who purchased chair seats in the CHS Gym last year can renew their same seats for this coming volleyball and basketball seasons. All remaining chair seats will be available for purchase at the "Meet the Bearcats" night on Friday, August 18, 2023. Chair seat passes for the 2023-24 school year will be valid for all home volleyball, boys basketball, and girls basketball games.🧡💙

Softball open field will be tomorrow (July 31st) from 9-11 AM, weather permitting.
The TeacherEase parent portal is now open for CES! To view your child's homeroom/schedule on the app, click on the picture of your child and switch to the 23-24 school year. At the bottom of your screen, click "More" then "Schedule". Move the date to August 9th and the homeroom teacher/schedule will appear.

Due to a lack of a quorum, tonight's Board of Education meeting has been postponed and rescheduled for Monday, July 31. The updated agenda can be found on the district's website. 🧡💙
Softball open field update: July 24-28, there will be open field, everyday, from 9-11 AM. This is to make up for the rain outs.
If you haven't already it's time to get your school physical. This includes both school and sport physicals. It's totally free!🧡💙
Good morning! Due to the heavy rain last night, open fields for baseball and softball have been canceled for today.
Weather permitting, baseball will have tryouts tomorrow morning from 9-11. Remember, to be able to tryout an up to date physical must be on file with the athletic department.

Important dates for the upcoming school year:
Monday, July 24th- New student registration opens online and the TeacherEase parent portal will be turned on to view your child's homeroom teacher.
Tuesday, August 8th- Meet the Teacher from 1-3 PM at CES. Parents/Guardians and students are welcome to come meet the teacher, drop off supplies, and get their bus information. Meet the Teacher is for grades 1st-8th. Kindergarteners will receive a letter in the mail to let you know your child's teacher and the date of orientation.
Wednesday, August 9th- First full day of school!

Information regarding the 23-24 school year:
- August 9th is the first day of student attendance
- New student registration will open on July 24th via the TeacherEase online portal. The link will be posted when the portal is open. If you have a Kindergarten student and have already registered, you do not need to register online.
- Returning students have already been registered for the new school year

CES would like to welcome Kennedy Bennett as the new softball coach and teacher for the upcoming school year! Her information regarding softball open fields and tryouts is attached. She is excited to get the season started and we are excited to have her!
The Summer Lunch Program starts next week in the CES Cafeteria!
June 5th - July 7th from 11 AM - 1 PM

*The cafeteria entrance is located behind the old gym. Please use this entrance for summer lunches.

Tomorrow is report card day. Bus riders will be picked up at their normal times. Breakfast will be served. The routes will run again at 9 AM to bring students home. Students who do not ride the bus may pick up their report card at 8:00 AM in their homeroom.
