PLEASE WEAR SHORTS AND FOOTBALL CLEATS/TENNIS SHOES.

The High School Graduation for the Class of 2026 will be today at 1:00 pm in the High School Gym.

Congratulations to CHS Sophomore Matyi House on recording her 200th Strikeout of the season for the ZRC Softball Team. Matyi is currently tied for 17th in the State of Illinois for strikeouts this season.

Congratulations to the Lady Cats Track team on their 3rd place finish at Sectionals today! We are so proud of these girls and all of their hard work this season. State qualifiers include: 🏅 Kaiti Wampler – 2nd Place Triple Jump (32’ 8.25”) 🏅 Tiara Sprague – 1st Place High Jump (5’2”) 🏅 Tiara Sprague – 2nd Place Long Jump (15’ 3.5") 🏅 4x200 Relay – 1st Place (1:51.09) Team members: Tiara Sprague, Macey Marlow, Callie Martin, and Sophia Parini Good luck at State, Lady Cats!

On Saturday, May 16, 2026, we will proudly recognize the Christopher High School Class of 2026 during commencement ceremonies. Due to the possibility of inclement weather, graduation will be held in the Christopher High School Gymnasium at 1:00 PM.

The ZRC Softball Lady Tornadoes will host the Du Quoin Lady Indians in a non-conference. Game time is at 4:30 PM.

The ZRC Baseball Tornadoes will travel to McLeansboro to take on the Hamilton County Foxes in a BDC Crossover matchup. Game time is at 4:30 PM.

Good Luck to the CZR Girls Track Team as they will compete in the IHSA 1A Du Quoin Sectional at Du Quoin High School today. Field Events are at 3:00 PM with Running Events at 4:00 PM.

Christopher High School will be hosting the Black Diamond Conference Boys Track Meet today. Field Events will begin at 3:30 PM with Running Events at 4:45 PM.

Come out and support our Bearcats as they compete against the other 11 BDC Track & Field Teams.

The ZRC Tornadoes are back in action today as they will host the Hardin Co. Cougars at 4:30 PM in a non-conference game.

Today's ZRC Softball game at Joppa-Maple Grove has been Cancelled.

The 25-26 school year is winding down. We will have 2:00 PM Dismissals on Thursday May 14, Friday May 15, and Monday May 18. There will be no school on Tuesday May 19. Report Card Day will be on Wednesday May 20 from 8:00-9:00 AM,

Exams will be on Friday May 15 and Monday May 18. Exams for Periods 1-4 will be on Friday and Exams for Periods 5-7 will be on Monday.

The CZR Boys Track Team will travel to Fairfield to compete in the Rick Book Invite. Field Events are at 4:00 PM with Running Events at 5:00 PM
