Kindergarten Round Up is coming soon! February 22nd from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM. Any child that is 5 years old by September 1, 2023 is eligible for Kindergarten. The student must be a resident of Christopher Unit School District #99 and present proof of residency. Please call Adrea at 618-724-2631 ext 103 to schedule an appointment.
Free developmental screenings will take place on Thursday, February 2nd from 8:30 AM- 12:00 PM at Christ's View Christian Church. The screenings are for children ages birth to 5 years old. Please call 618-453-4271 for an appointment. If you are unable to attend the Christopher screening, feel free to schedule at another location.
Upcoming Events
*Tonight the girls basketball team plays ZR at home with JV starting at 5:30 PM. If you purchased a side by side raffle ticket, be sure to attend the game to find out the winner! We will be drawing in between the JV and Varsity games.
*Tomorrow is our K-4 Christmas Program in the CES New Gym. Doors open at 8:30 AM and the program starts at 9 AM. Students that have turned in a signed permission slip will be dismissed following the program. If a permission slip has not been turned in, dismissal will be at 12:30 PM.
*Winter Break is December 19th - January 2nd. Students return from break on January 3rd.

CES Water Update: The city is working on an issue that has caused them to shut off water to part of the building. Restrooms are still available and drinking water has been provided. We will dismiss at regular time today (2:57PM).

CES report cards and parent/teacher conference notes will be sent home today. Please return the parent/teacher conference note as soon as possible. Your child's teacher will contact you with your scheduled time.
*Parent/Teacher Conferences are scheduled for Tuesday, October 25th and Thursday, October 27th. The book fair will also be open for shopping both nights.
*Picture retakes are October 25th and there is no school on October 28th.
Don't forget- the Homecoming Parade is Friday at 1:15 PM! Students must have a permission slip on file before Friday to be signed out at 12:30 PM from CES. Please make sure your child's teacher knows what his/her plan is for parade day. The attached flyer has all the details.
