This week's words are: teacher not won't do not* *This is our rhyming word for the week! Please help your child with these words EACH night! They should be able to read, write, and spell them aloud. Our Spelling test will be on Friday! Guided Reading
This week we are reading: I'm a Caterpillar When we are working out of the Reading book, I will be sending books home on Monday AND Tuesday evenings to practice. As usual, the Reading test will be on on WEDNESDAY! Students will begin reading their tests independently. Guided Writing
We have begun to write in our notebooks at least three days of the week. The students are doing a WONDERFUL job and are improving on remembering their capital letters and punctuation! We are also learning to indent and create titles. Please practice handwriting and adding capital/periods at home! Math
We will continue through the second half of Chapter 5 this week! This is a VERY long chapter! The material is becoming very difficult, so any extra practice at home would be wonderful! Please prepare for one night of Math homework this week! |
