Spelling words are passed out on Monday each week and the students are asked to write them in their Assignment Notebooks. So, if their list does not make it home, you should be able to find their words there or here on my webpage. ~ Spelling tests are given each Friday as they have been in the past. Study those words every night and your child will do great!! ~ |

 Reading |
Reading books are sent home every night so they can read their story with you or another adult. They are asked to write "Read p. ?-?" or the name of the story in their planners each day so you will know what to read, but if they forget, don't hesitate to ask me or check the webpage for the title and page numbers. We have a reading test each week as well as activities throughout the week to help prepare for the test. ~ Read! Read! Read! (And don't stop at our Reading stories. Read everything!) ~ |
