Email is sometimes easier because I can talk with you immediately. This site is used to give the students and parents a tentative schedule of what will be covered during the week. Please always check your child's planner to get updated daily assignments.
If your child is absent, please call the office so we can get his/her assignments and books ready so you can pick them up. This will allow your child to get a start on missed daily work.

6th Grade Math Math 6-7 and Math 6-8 This year in 6th Grade Math we will be working on Reviewing the basic math facts, order of operations, learning about decimals(Adding, Subtracting, Multiplying and Dividing), rounding decimals, Fractions(Adding, Subtracting, Multiplying, and Dividing), Percents, Ratios and Proportions, Rates, Unit Rates, and Integers. Please check your child's planner for up to date assignments. Check back later for websites to help supplement your child's experience in 6th grade math. 6th Grade Math Plus (6-4) This class will be using the 7th grade textbook. Since they are skipping the 6th grade book, I will be going back and using supplemental work to make sure they do not miss skills that are taught or mastered at the 6th grade level. I may not follow the book in order, because of this. Plans for this year include learning: order of operations, long division with decimals, Integers(add, subtract, multiply and divide), fractions(add, subtract, multiply and divide), percents, ratios and proportions, geometry, and pre-algebra. These skills will get them ready for 7th grade Pre-Algebra.
