Christopher Unit School District No. 99 will begin the construction and renovation of Christopher Elementary School this September.  Full completion is scheduled for June of 2014.

The plans call for a complete renovation of the corridor that houses the main office and the nine classrooms of the south wing.  New construction will consist of a junior high science lab, six classrooms and a gymnasium.

The new and renovated classrooms will each consist of over 860 square feet and be equipped with up-to-date technology ensuring a safe learning environment that is tailored to our students’ educational needs. Grades K-3 will be utilizing the new and renovated classrooms.

The main funding mechanism will be proceeds from the 1% School Facility Sales Tax.
